Anyone getting reports from WIndows Defender in Win 10 for Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml with 3.1 client builds? I am with 3.1.0.15, just being sure it is a false positive here.
No issues on my end using Windows Defender, except possibly a warning about an untrusted app during install, but definitely no Trojan warnings. What does VirusTotal say?
I’m assuming you downloaded directly from nextcloud? It’s a shame there aren’t any checksums to compare against.
The current version is 3.0.1, so I wouldn’t try using something marked as 3.1. It may be beta or… not legit at all.
It ended up being a false positive for Windows Defender, updated the definitions the next day and it did not flag it after that and no other A/V software detected anything. Thanks for your replies folks. Sorry for the false alarm.
