Desktop app takes very long to sync to the server

Hi, so my setup for nextcloud is whereby users have access to both the web portal and the desktop application.
The challenge we are experiencing is:

  1. When users use the desktop application, it takes a long time for the work to sync to the server and other users to get the updated information. This can go beyond weeks.

  2. When using nextcloud on the browser most times it does not automatically save hence users loose their information and have to redo their work again.
