Hello,

Have good access to our online storage via internet explorer but would like to use the Deskop App. I have downloaded the Desktop App but the server address is not found and I keep getting an error message saying Host not Found. I have tried to uninstall and restall, along with restarting the computer but this has not helped. Are there any other possible reasons why I cannot connect?

Nextcloud version \_2.5.2
Operating system and version : windows 10, Intel i7,

The issue you are facing:

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? _(Y/N)_:

Steps to replicate it:

1.
2.
3.

The output of your Nextcloud log in **Admin \> Logging** :

```auto
PASTE HERE
```

The output of your config.php file in `/path/to/nextcloud` (make sure you remove any identifiable information!):

```auto
```

The output of your Apache/nginx/system log in `/var/log/ ____ `:

```auto
Hello richard1,
this sounds all a bit strange, so normally it should connect without problems, first make sure that you use the same address and hostname, e.g. [https://mycloud.example.com](https://mycloud.example.com) (make sure that you have the `https` and not just `http`, you should have configured the webserver that it does a redirect but if you haven’t this can be a difference).
Beyond of that it could be that your internet explorer is using a proxy server and not a direct internet connection (more likely in company environments). Other idea could be some security/firewall solutions on your system that block the connection.
