okay, thanks!

I just stumbled over this (ridiculusly) large directories. I am deleting those old backups now (backup of nc-9, nc-11, nc-12 and another nc-12).
Maybe there could be an announcement after the update, something like:

"If you are sure, everything went OK with the backup, you might want to delete the directory “/data/updater-XXXXXX/backups/nextcloud-XX.X.X.X” in your data directory!

That would help some people to remember that these exist…

There is this feature request now on GitHub for auto-deletion of old backups.

Nextcloud 14 will delete all backups except the last 3 ones. https://github.com/nextcloud/server/pull/9855

Hi Mr. Jobke, I have seen, in my updater-path are 4 backups. 15.0.7, 16.0.3,.16.0.1.1, 16.0.4.1

I am just deleting 10 backups. This is ridiculous. My files are 50 Mo and Nextcloud is 6 Go… I was so anxious about the free space on my webhosting and I discover that it is the fat Nextcloud that eats all the space.
