DDNS not updating with new IP address upon router reboot

NCpi runs fine for a while, but if I ever have to reboot my router, it breaks things. Upon router reboot, my WAN IP address gets rotated. This new IP address is not getting updated with my DNS provider (freeDNS). With NC pi it requests the update hash, but shouldn’t I need to provide login credentials for freeDNS so the NCP can update properly?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Have you tried this?

Yep,

The NextcloudPi Wizard does that for you.

Update hash and domain name were correctly input.

Finding that I have to login to local:4443 and run nc-update for things to work again, even when freeDNS is configured to update on intervals of 5 min.
