Dear Nextcloud Community,
I am seeking assistance in creating a monitoring dashboard within the Nextcloud Analytics app. My objective is to integrate JSON data from our company’s server, accessible via a specific endpoint, and visualize this data effectively.
Current Setup:
Data Source: A JSON endpoint provided by our server.
Goal: To display and monitor the data from this JSON feed within Nextcloud’s Analytics app.
Challenges Encountered:
Configuring the JSON Data Source:
I have attempted to set up a new dataset in the Analytics app, specifying the JSON URL and object path. However, I am uncertain about the correct object path syntax, especially when dealing with nested JSON structures.
Authentication Requirements:
Our JSON endpoint requires authentication. I am unsure how to properly configure the Analytics app to handle this authentication, ensuring secure and authorized data access.
Data Visualization:
Once the data is imported, I aim to create visualizations that effectively represent the key metrics. Guidance on best practices for setting up Panoramas and reports within the Analytics app would be highly beneficial.
Request for Assistance:
I would greatly appreciate detailed guidance or examples on:
Correctly configuring the JSON data source, including specifying the object path for nested data.
Setting up authentication for the JSON endpoint within the Analytics app.
Designing effective visualizations to monitor the imported data.
Any insights, documentation, or examples from those who have experience with similar setups would be invaluable.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Best regards,
chaves
