There is no such thing as bug free software.
And you should not upgrade your production instances blindly on day one. Wait at least for the first point release and run a seperate instance on which you test new releases or maybe even beta releases first. That way you can avoid most issues that come up here in the forums, and if you have time, you could even report bugs back to the project and thereby help to improve the product for everyone.
