Please forgive me if there is already a similar post, I could not find it.

Nextcloud version (e.g. 18.0.1): 20.0.2
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04): nextcloud:latest
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): nextcloud:latest
PHP version (eg, 7.1): nextcloud:latest

The issue you are facing:

I cannot sync my contacts with macOS and CardDav.
.well-known are set up correctly and I can create and connect the account, however on iOS it works.

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): Y

Steps to replicate it:

  1. Setup cardav with manual mode (username, password and server address)
  2. Contacts not synced

macOS comes with different version, no?
When you set up the account on your mac, can you check the server logs during that time. You will see which resources are used and where the webserver fails to respond. You might want to get familiar with the http status codes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_HTTP_status_codes), so everything with 4xx and 5xx is bad. The redirections might be wrong at some point.

Thanks for the answer, seems like I wasn’t notified. It works for some reason now, maybe just needed some time to sync :woman_shrugging:
