Hello
I have used Owncloud from 2014 to 2016, at the end of 2016 I have switch to NextCloud.
I synchronize directories between server and several PC (Ubuntu and Windows) by using NextCloud Client; it was great!
Now NextCloud Client does not connect any the server when I start my PC (it is the same with Ubuntu or Windows PC)
It follows a change of password on my account NextCloud but I am not certain that there is a cause and effect relationship.
I connect without problem my PC to my server across my browser.
The connection via NextCloud Client works well at the creation of the connection but when I stop and restart my PC nextcloud client cannot restore this connection,
I have to delete my account and create a new account… and all is OK.
If I only disconnect the PC Nextcloud ask me my passeword …but this have no effect!
In “seahorse” wallet I have the creation of NextCloud connection bu without password ?
Is there an incompatibility between Seahorse and Nextcloud?
Thank you for your help
Michel
In your case, the client logfiles could contain interesting information. What did you change that it doesn’t work? Migrate from ownCloud to Nextcloud client? Updates?
I am having the same problem. It also applies the the mobile apps: Nextcloud, Talk, and Notes. I did not have this problem with 13.0.
I did notice however that the problem goes away when accessed from an external network. When on mobile data all the apps connect fine but don’t under WIFI in the same LAN. This also applies to my computer when I use my phone as a hotspot off the cell network.
