Is there a way to activate threads in Talk ?
The goal is to allow multiple people to answer to a message in a tread instead of having a mixup of many threads.

I don’t think you can do it this way. The idea you have one conversation per topic which would loosely translate to a “thread”. you discuss “Ferrari” in one chat and “Lamborgini” in another even same people participate in both chats

We come from Slack and Mattermost, which both allow threads.
We used to have discussions dedicated to projects. Threads are valuable in such context as each contributor to a project can participate to discussions related to that project.
With many contributors to each discussion it is hard to follow the answers to subjects. We don’t want to use a forum for that use as we don’t want to keep indefinitely theses exchanges (there is no interest in that).
I am certain that this feature will be a great added value to Nextcloud Talk !
