# Community Document Server no activation possible

Hi there,  
I use a Nextcloud 18 (update from earlier versions) on a webhosting package. Now I installed the app “community document server”. If I try to activate the app I always get the following error:

“Es ist ein Fehler bei der Anfrage aufgetreten. Es kann nicht fortgefahren werden.”

Can someone help me?

have the same issue with a hosted nc. i already tried to increase the timeout as suggested here:

(however as a workaround to a different problem)

so i think it has to do with a missing php function. my webhoste hast disabled the proc\_open function
