Collabora - spaces and umlauts - cant export as PDF

Hey guys,

I had to realize with regret that my Collabora has problems with files containing umlauts or spaces, especially when exporting as PDF.

There are no errors in the logs. Neither in the Nextcloud log, PHP log nor in the NGINX log.

Are there already solutions for this?

I have the same problem with NC 30.0.0, NCOffice 8.5.1 and the buit-in CODE Server 24.4.702.

Nextcloud 30.01, latest Nextcloud Office, CODE server, it’s my personal server.

PDF Export seems to start, I can enter PDF settings etc in the export window, hitting export just returns me to the document. Nothing has been exported.

Renaming the original to exclude spaces and umlauts does allow for a conversion.

Collabora Online Development Edition 24.04.9.1 55317ef; own server

I have an ODS file with blanks in name.
Open in nextcloud
File->Export as
→ keep proposed file name with blanks and extenstion pdf
→ shows PDF dialog.
No error, no success. BUT NO PDF.

Rename ODS such that there are no blanks in name.
Open in nextcloud
File-> Export as
→ USE file name WITH blanks and extenstion pdf
→ shows PDF dialog.
—> hows Success message
PDF is there!
