Hi from Germany.
I’m trying to get away from OneDrive, where we sync 660GByte at this time between 12 offices using Windows 10. This is working fine since 2015.
Now we ran into issues with OneDrive and Windows 11 and I thought NextCloud might be a solution.
So I did order a managed NextCloud at “wolkesicher.de” with 1TB and unlimited users on a shared server.
The Upload of the first 10GByte Data was fast as expected, but then the upload got slower and slower and it took 3 days to upload 30GByte.
So I tried out “hetzner.de”, also 1TByte available but more expensive. Unfortunately I only got errors while trying to sync like “Server stopped accepting new Streams before this stream was established” for nearly all files before sync stoppe completely. I canceled that contract…
OK, 3rd try now with “hosting.de”. So far a free test account with only 1GByte. Started sync with expected speed. But after some syncing and deleting with test data I’m trying to sync about 500MByte I get the same result with slower and slower snchronisation.
My DSL has 40Mbit Upload max. In the beginning I get high upload speeds shown like 6MBit but I can watch that drop through KBit to Bit until no speed at all is shown and it appears the sync froze.
3 different NextCloud Hostings of managed servers from different companys. I’m getting mad here… Is there any Client Issue?
Why does the sync speed gets dropped to freeze all the time?
I tried this on 2 Windows 11 clients and (via AnyDesk) on a Windows 10 client in Brazil. (Where I do have 10 offices to sync…)
Anyone has a clue?
Thanks
Ralf
