The issue you are facing: When logged in using Chrome (or derivative) browser, opening a clanadar item from the Dashboard widget opens a new tab, but indefinately is trying to open te calandar item. Popups are enabled for the website. No extra extensions installed.

Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N): Y, but reproducable on multiple systems

Steps to replicate it:

  1. Log into nextcloud using Chrome(ium)
  2. Click on Agenda Item from Dashboard (upcoming activities widget)
3.New tab opens and times out

The problem does NOT occur using Firefox
When going to the agenda, then opening the item, a popup opens and can be edited.

Any suggestions?

@tcit thanks for pointing this out. I will test it with changing the format to ‘list’ and see what happens…

I was able to reproduce this. Setting the view to “list” does make it possible to edit/create from the Dashboard.

Also disabling the “simple text editor” in calendar settings solves the problem
