Changing dynamic dns

Everyone,

I’m going to be changing dynamic dns providers. Other changing the config.conf file to accept the new dns name, is there any other files I need to change to get this to work with the new dns?

Also, I have a windows PC with the app running to sync. Is there away to change the sync address without removing and re-adding the account again with the new dns name?

This should normally be enough (unless you use a proxy or something more complicated). I’d keep for a moment the old hostname as well and just change the overwrite.cli.url and other things to your new dynamic hostname.

Probably not the in the GUI. But there are the configuration files. Stop the client and change the host names manually with a text editor. You can find the location of the config files in the documentation:
