Centos 7 server install nextcloud client through snap, how can I open the graphical interface to configure the account and password to log in?

Hello, I have a question, can centos 7 server install nextcloud client through snap, how can I open the graphical interface to configure the account and password to log in?

It sounds like it. As the snap maintainer, though, I don’t recommend (and can’t support) using it on anything other than Ubuntu.

That said, to answer your other question, you should be able to simply visit http://localhost in your browser and setup the admin account.

Thanks for replying, I have created an account on the nextcloud server, my question is how to configure the nextcloud client on the Linux client (centos7 and no GUI) to achieve automatic synchronization, how to set the nextcloud client configuration file?

Oh I’m so very sorry-- I glossed over the word “client” there. I maintain the server, please allow me to retract everything I said other than the centos snapd installation link :stuck_out_tongue: . I didn’t realize a snap of the client existed, these days.

I’m afraid I don’t know how to configure it in a headless manner, either.

Hello,

the Nextcloud Client is designed as a GUI Client. I dont know of a way to do that.

May i ask for what reason you’d want to sync something from the nextcloud to a headless server?
If you want to setup a Scanner, i’d recommend using a small SMB or SFTP Server.
If you want to setup a Fileserver, why do not use the WebDAV itself for that?
