Cant upgrade to Nextcloud 16

I cant upgrade to Nextcloud 16. The Updater isn’t available on the Web Server. If I try to upgdate it via console i get this message:

Do I really need to upgrade it manually or is there a way to bypass this?

If you go to that URL, it says:

Our update check has noticed that your server is running PHP 7.0 or older. We want to inform you that Nextcloud releases newer than version 15 will no longer support these PHP releases. It is recommended to prepare an upgrade to a newer version of PHP.

What version of PHP are you running?

Yes, thats the Problem. I got PHP 7.0, need to upgrade it first. Thanks for you help.
