Steps to replicate it:

That's Chinese to me. I got a prescription to a free account on a host server and I reach it via any browser.

You cannot access your protonmail emails outside of or their apps if you’re on the free plan. For more details, check out the IMAP/SMTP tab under Settings of your protonmail account.
