Can't install NC21 Talk and getting error "Syntax error or access violation: 1071 Specified key was too long; max key length is 767 bytes"

I am using shared host and can’t set global innodb_large_prefix=on; set global innodb_file_format=Barracuda. I’ve executed occ maintenance:repair but getting same error. Is there anything that can help installing Talk?

I don’t have the super privilege to access MySQL settings since it is a shared host.

Then you’ll have to ask your hoster to follow this guide and enable the 4-byte support :slight_smile:

very hard luck :frowning: as shared hosting hoster said “there is no option to enable”. I thought there is a luck of bypassing 4-byte support enable.
