Can't get two-way sync between Android and Nextcloud

The issue you are facing:
I can only sync my calendar from Nextcloud to my phone. For unknown reasons, events entered on the Android don’t show up in Nextcloud.

Steps to replicate it:

  1. On the Android, create an event in Calendar
  2. Click sync
  3. Check Nextcloud
