I just started setting up a NAS system for myself with truenas wich worked fine, but i just tried today to get Nextcloud running, so i could access my data from outside of my local network wich as a hobbyist photographer is really important. TrueNAS says nextcloud is running, but if i open the Web UI, it just says im accessing using a non trusted domain. It also says i can fix that issue in the config.php file wich i found, but cant access due to me not having the rights to do so. I am using Windows wo configure truenas and nextcloud, and cant figure out why i dont have the rights to open that file. I appreciate any help regarding my problem.
For TrueNAS, it seems that Nextcloud is installed inside a jail.
You can probably manually use the terminal (ssh connection) to access this:
I don’t know TrueNAS, perhaps in the web-interface they might have an option to open a shell already within the jail.
Inside the jail, it seems to be installed in:
/usr/local/www/nextcloud/config
Thanks i will try that Out.
I found out i can just use config/config.php to access it, but it denies my access. I was loged in as truenas_admin so i should have all necessary permisions.
