The issue you are facing:
Today the dark mode (which can be set in accessibility settings) just randomly popped up some days ago and I can’t deactivate it anymore. The “Dark Mode” checkbox is unset, however if I check it and afterwards uncheck again, the design is back to normal (light theme). After switching pages, however, it switches back to black.

You should also be able to check your nextcloud.log as admin for errors, either within Nextcloud or in /var/www/

Alright I found the log file, however since it’s about 10GB in size, is there some keyword I could possibly search for?

You should be able to grep it for errors. Might be easiest to filter by errors under the Nextcloud admin interface on the top right.

I have the same problem.

Linux Mint 20.3, Firefox 100, Nextcloud 23.0.4 with all apps up to date.

It works normally in Chromium 101.0.4951.54

@taiBsu can you (or someone else) open a ticket in github? I don’t have the time right now but I will follow and provide more info if needed.
