After creating a document from a template I get the following error on saving it:

> Document cannot be saved. Check your permissions or contact the storage server administrator.

On the collabora docker container I get the following error messages:

> wsd-00006-00872 2021-04-14 07:20:55.754457 [docbroker\_024] ERR Cannot store docKey [/index.php/apps/richdocuments/wopi/files/11243\_ocm5qj2t129d] as .uno:Save has failed in LOK.| wsd/DocumentBroker.cpp:1035
> wsd-00006-00872 2021-04-14 07:20:55.754523 [docbroker\_024] ERR error: cmd=storage kind=savefailed| ./common/Session.hpp:136

Workaround:
“Save as” still works as expected and the new file can be edited

On older forum posts I saw that disabling the versions app might help. But this didn’t fix the problem for me

Seeing the same issue here:

```auto
$ docker logs IMAGENAME -f
wsd-00009-00073 2021-05-25 22:32:36.194225 [docbroker_003] ERR Cannot store docKey [/index.php/apps/richdocuments/wopi/files/1067472_ocip5zznni78] as .uno:Save has failed in LOK.| wsd/DocumentBroker.cpp:1035
wsd-00009-00073 2021-05-25 22:32:36.194246 [docbroker_003] ERR error: cmd=storage kind=savefailed| ./common/Session.hpp:136
```

The document is an ODT file created from a template in Nextcloud.

Another basic work around is to create the file on desktop or to copy a known working file then I can edit it in browser.

Got this as well. Is this a Collabora-issue or a Nextcloud issue?

I am noticing the same issue. Any template, global or user specific results in the same outcome – file will not save.

I am using NextCloud 21.0.3 with Mariadb (alpine) and Collabora 6.4-42 behind a reverse proxy.

Files created otherwise as noted above edit and save correctly, producing no error.
