I wanted to test this for a long time so I set up a solr installation and installed the app.
So far so good. Indexing worked except for encrypted files but I suppose that’s something I can configure
But as soon as I secured my Solr admin interface with basis authentication ping no longer worked.
I can understand that, but - and this is probably a not so clever question - how do I secure solr admin interface without losing connection to nextant
By the way I am definitely not a sys admin
