we switched from owncloud to nextcloud. Many young users download files over the browser (https). And they are used to have the option “save to”. But now you have only “save” or to “open” (temporary folder).
Any solution in the future? They dont use the desktop client.
I think, this behavior depends on how you’ve configured your web browser and is not a Nextcloud specific issue. In Firefox e.g. you find this setting under Extra -> Settings -> General -> Files and Applications:
