Can remove Accept/Decline buttons from event invitation?

In NextCloud, under Calendar, when I create an event, it emails out an invitation to attendees. This is good. However, I would like to remove the Accept and Decline buttons that appear at the bottom of the invitation.

While creating the event, I tried, for each attendee, clicking the 3 dots next to their name and unchecking “Request reply”. However, that didn’t seem to make a difference.
