I have a dual boot PC with Windows 10/Ubuntu. I have installed Nextcloud Desktop Client on windows and syncing with a folder on disk E (E:\Work\Nextcloud)
This disk is also mounted in Ubuntu. If I install Nextcloud Client in Ubuntu too and specify this same directory as a Sync Folder, will this work or will it mess things up?
In other words, having the same folder being synced from both Windows and Ubuntu client, works or will create a mess?
I use a very similar setup, sharing a Nextcloud data folder between Windows and CachyOS (not dualboot), and it works fine for me. However, I would strongly recommend making a full backup of your data before testing this. Better safe than sorry!
