Can 2 user use a different USB-stick to save the files

Hi,

I use NextCloud with a raspberry Pi 3 and my wife and me using NextCloud to save our data. The datadirectory is a 64GB USB-stick. But I like to use one stick for my files an other one for my wife’s files. Is that possible?

You can only have one data folder. You could with external storage, … or you mount your wife’s stick to /path/to/nextcloud/data/wife and your stick to /path/to/nextcloud/data/you. It might give strange results when a stick is unmounted or breaks. Normally you have the whole data folder on a partition, then if it is unmounted, the system will detect it.

If you buy 2 more USB sticks you could add them as external storage.
