I’m not quite sure whether it’s an individual issue or it’s a general bug/feature…

I just found out that the general sharing settings don’t seem to take effect in the calendar app.
For example, I excluded certain groups from sharing. But users of those groups are still able to share their calendars with every other user, although the sharing restrictions work perfectly for files and folders.
Anyone can confirm that this behavior is normal?
If not, does anyone have an idea what is causing this issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
