Block on Updating database schema

Hello,
I need help with a Nextcloud update issue.
I am using version 29.0.7, but the transition to version 29.0.8 seems to be stuck at the database level:

The update went well:

[:heavy_check_mark:] Check for expected files
[:heavy_check_mark:] Check for write permissions
[:heavy_check_mark:] Create backup
[:heavy_check_mark:] Downloading
[:heavy_check_mark:] Verify integrity
[:heavy_check_mark:] Extracting
[:heavy_check_mark:] Enable maintenance mode
[:heavy_check_mark:] Replace entry points
[:heavy_check_mark:] Delete old files
[:heavy_check_mark:] Move new files in place
[:heavy_check_mark:] Done

Update of code successful.

But the upgrade is stuck:

Should the “occ upgrade” command be executed? [Y/n] Y
Nextcloud or one of the apps require upgrade - only a limited number of commands are available
You may use your browser or the occ upgrade command to do the upgrade
Setting log level to debug
Repair step: Repair MySQL collation
Repair info: All tables already have the correct collation → nothing to do
Repair step: Copy data from accounts table when migrating from ownCloud
Repair step: Drop account terms table when migrating from ownCloud
Updating database schema

I have waited for hours, but nothing is happening.

I have checked my database, and no corruption has been found.

Has anyone encountered this kind of problem before?

Version 29.0.8 is not yet released. Only a RC (Release Candidate) is available for testing for users with advanced skills. If you already need help with the update, then you probably don’t belong to the target group of users who should test a release candidate

So what did you do: browser or console update?
Did you read the manual how to solve such problems?
Did you search the forum?
