Best setup for sharing some files, keeping others private?

I want to have a set up where users have their own files in their own private folders but also access to files which re shared and edited with others. Who’s the best user to control the shared files?

Persistent file shares has given me a clue. How would you set things up? Should I use the NC Admin user to create and share a folder for the files? Or create a new user specifically for this purpose who will own and share?

What’s best practice?

My first idea is, that you should have a look at the group folders app.
