Backing up Ubuntu Minimal, can't install Nextcloud-Clien

Hi, the following circumstances

I have two Rock64-SBC’s, both of them on ubuntu 16.04 minimal.
One of them hosts a nextcloud-server running smoothly for a few months now. Kudos.

The other one does a few other things for me (SmartHome, Plex…)
Now i want to backup the home-folder from the non-NC-Board onto my Nextcloud on a regular base, let’s say daily…

I tried to work my way through this with this tutorial (https://www.c-rieger.de/nextcloudcmd-without-gui/) where it says, like many other tutorials:
add-apt-repository ppa:nextcloud-devs/client
apt update && apt install nextcloud-client

Thing is: There is no nextcloud-client in this ppa for me, only nextcloud-client-caja
nextcloud-client-l10n
extcloud-client-nautilus
nextcloud-client-nemo

Which one to chose from there? Or has anyone a better idea how to sync a homefolder of another SBC onto a Nextcloud-SBC?

Your help is much appreciated, cheers from vienna.

I have a similar problem on a Rock64 as I get the same, but using Rock64’s standard Linux install. I’m only offered the nautilus/nemo/caja options but whichever I try, I get two dependency errors, dependencies that cannot be installed.

Depends: nextcloud-client (>=2.3.3-20180415.190957~bionic1) but it is not installable
Depends: libnextcloudsync0 but it is not installable

If I try and run the appimage I get

./Nextcloud-2.3.3-x86_64.AppImage: Syntax error: Unterminated quoted string

I have an RPi running well as a server and a client on an Asus Tinker Board, but this Rock64 has stumped me so far. Has anyone achieved this?

Nautilus owncloud and owncloud desktop sync client appear to install OK, but I’m not an owncloud user.

OS

uname -r
4.4.126-rockchip-ayufan-239

Reading another thread, I hadn’t realised that you could run the owncloud client with the nextcloud server. The owncloud client is working fine for me, at the moment.
