First of all, I tried opening the app for the first time since January, and the app would simply crash on opening with no message. After a quick search online, I reinstalled the app and signed back in.
Now the app is uploading duplicates of all of my pictures (I have thousands). I verified this by checking my folders from 2014 and 2015. The new ones have a different numbering scheme, so there isn’t a filename collision (it seems that the old version of the app used hashes, not sequential numbering like the current app version).
