Nextcloud Hub 10 v.31.0.4
Windows Nextcloud-Client - 3.16.3 x64
Every morning I turn on my computer and every morning Windows Nextcloud-Client requires authorization via web interface and grant permission to the computer to connect. I will be very grateful for advice on how to grant permission to my computer once for automatic daily connection.
Thank you.
Usually, once the login flow (web authorization) is done, it normally creates an app password so it can login using this app password in the future.
In your account, in the settings, there should be a list of app passwords in the security section. The devices & sessions shows the active app passwords and when they were used for the last time.
I’d check if your desktop client created such an app password. Perhaps this procedure failed at some point. In such a case, you can create an app password manually, and on the next connection you use your user name and this app password to authenticate.
If you want to make it work automatically, perhaps the logs reveal more information why this did not work.
Thank you very much for this idea! I’ll take a look.
Have a nice day!
