I tried to install a new app developed by a colleague, the app isn’t available on the Nexcloud app store, so i copied the app directory manually. The problem here it begins: on the web interface, during the installation was marked as “incompatible”, but the application it works as it should.
I think the problem it’s because, on appinfo/info.xml , the nextcloud max-version is set to 15, the server being on v17.0.1 .
Is info.xml related to this problem, or is the problem somewhere else?
Most likely your assumption is right because that’s the way how the compatibility is checked.
