Oliver

Hello,

if you’re shure the app doesn’t harm the system set

'appcodechecker' => false,
in /config/config.php

After Installing, you can set it back to
'appcodechecker' => true,

-> Have also a look into the manual…

Ciao,
Joachim

Great,

THANK’s

Maybe a kind of HINT in the error message would be something to think about…

All the best,

Oliver

Possibly… however there are security dangers to suggesting that code checking be disabled, especially to users not technically aware enough to know about options like this in the first place. Long term, really the better option is to talk to the app developers about getting their apps to pass the code check in the first place. It’s a bit like advising everyone to turn off their firewall if they have configuration problems with it. Sure, it makes the immediate problem go away, but it opens you up to potential security vulnerabilities.
