Any way to sort files and folders like old NC?

The files are sorted after folders now in NC28/NC29.

I don’t think it’s a good option. I would prefer to allow files and folders to be sorted between each other like the older versions of NC.

So, any way to sort like old NC? Or have to downgrade NC to an older versions?

Click on Files settings at the bottom right of the Files app, and then uncheck Sort folders before files.

AFAIK no, or at least I couldn’t find a configuration parameter for this in the documentation.
