Another 502 gateway error

I’ve been trying to install nextcloud for like a month now. (I don’t have a lot of time to sit there and work with my desktop where I can do my best work)
I’ve followed this link to get most of it setup.
With interruptions I had a working nginx server with an accessible “Welcome” page. After trial and error using my phone as my access to the server I think I got a bunch setup, but I’m stuck with the following error.
connect() to unix:/run/php/php7.0-fpm.sock failed (2: No such file or directory) while connecting to upstream, client: 192.168.10.106, server: 192.168.10.120, request: “GET /favicon.ico HTTP/1.1”, upstream: “fastcgi://unix:/run/php/php7.0-fpm.sock:”, host: “192.168.10.120”

I’m running Ubuntu server 16.04, nginx, php7, and mariadb.

and I know I changed my php listener to
;listen = /run/php/php7.0-fpm.sock
listen = 127.0.0.1:9000

I don’t know where to go from here. Could it be the fascgi needing to be changed also? That wasn’t in the how-to.

Also, if someone wants to help my tidy up this post that would be nice too :slightly_smiling_face:

that looks a bit odd. have you checked if this file/dir exists?

plus: why not trying this howto? → Installing NC on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

The file doesn’t exist. When I tried to do owncloud on my Rpi I used the line that said “listen = 127.0.0.0:9000” or something like that. I don’t know where the file should come from.
I guess I could try to figure that out.
