Android Auto upload not working

Problems with auto upload on samsung s23.

Server 29.0.8 running on debian

I have tried the following:

All permissions
Battery unrestricted
Same settings for auto upload.

Samsung S10, One UI=2.5, Android=10. kernel=4.14.113
Samsung S23, One UI=6.1, Android=14, kernel=5.15…123

apk 3.28.0
S10: OK
S23: upload OK, file not deleted

apk 3.30.3
S10: OK
S23: uploads after new install, then nothing
Monitoring nginx logs nothing happens when a new photo is taken.

Sorry, forgot specify these.
Tried different settings but right now:
Storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Camera
unchecked “only upload on WIFI” and “only when charging”
checked “Also upload existing” and “Use subfolders”=Year
Original file will be: deleted
Already exist: skip upload
