Android App has high Power consumption while waiting for upload conditions to become true

Some or all of the below information will be requested if it isn’t supplied; for fastest response please provide as much as you can

[/details]

Nextcloud version (eg, 20.0.5): 24.0.7
Operating system and version (eg, Ubuntu 20.04): centos 7
Apache or nginx version (eg, Apache 2.4.25): replace me
PHP version (eg, 7.4): 7.4
Android App 3.22.3
MobilePhone: Samsung Xcover 5 Android 12
The issue you are facing:
Usually my AutoUpload Folders are all set up with:
Use Only WLAN without Fees
Upload only while Charging Battery

If now there is a file to be uploaded via the AutoUpload mechanism and there is no powercable connected, the battery usage of Nextcloud rises to more than 2% in about 30 min.
Well, yeah the Xcover has only a small battery…

Battery usage increase stops after the files have finally been uploaded by attaching a power cable

If the AutoUpload Folder had the “only while charging” removed and a new file is crated in there
the whole process of uploading consumes almost no additional power.

Thus instead of saving battery the “only while charging” wastes battery power.
Is this the first time you’ve seen this error? (Y/N):

Steps to replicate it:

  1. set up AutoUpload folder like mentioned above
  2. remove charging cable
  3. create file in monitored folder
  4. wait half an hour or an hour depending on battery capacity
  5. see the battery usage for nextcloud rise
