I’m still pretty new new with NextCloud and just installed the latest 19.0.1 onto a LXC container in Proxmox, and have that connected to my external UnRaid shares. And that seems to be working pretty well.
I then installed the NC app onto my Android Pixel 3XL phone running Android 10.
But I can’t get the Android app to stream an mp4 video. Both on a PC and an in the phones web browser, the video will play.
I even tried telling the app to stream with the VLC app on the phone, but it would not work either and always get “The built-in media player is unable to play the media file”
I know the phone can play the files via the web browser on the phone through NC. And I can also play the files fine directly via VLC. Yet the the stream button in NC gives that error.
Any idea on how to stream a video directly through the NC app?
