Android app: always two different storage locations

Nextcloud 23.03
Android app 3.19.1

I installed the Android app on a brand new smartphone and realized that downloaded files are stored in two different locations:

  1. /storage/emulated/0/nextcloud
  2. /storage/emulated/0/Android/media/com.nextcloud.client/nextcloud

The files are not duplicated but some are stored in one location some in the other. Even files from the same folder are stored in both locations.

I de-installed the app and deleted all directories a few times and played around with the storage location configuration before downloading the first file. But the app always creates these two locations. It doesn’t matter which store location I choose in the configuration. Is that intended?

I have the same issue, but i can’t figure out how to solve it.
