Just finished a first time install and thought I’d mention things went pretty easy on AWS EC2 using
Amazon’s AMI Linux 2 (RH7/Cent7) spin
Amazon has a “linux extra’s” for Linux 2 repo that has a lamp install that pretty
much covers everything you need for a 13 install “lamp-mariadb10.2-php7.2andphp7.2”
Extra’s also had a redis 4.x package.
Without having to use any external repos or funky SCL dual install, etc.
Only thing needed is I had to is to compile the redis PHP extension.
Just thought I throw that out there.
