I don’t really know much about ubuntu snap format. I noticed, that all provided services (apache, mysql, redis, php) are run as root and wanted to ask how security is guaranteed in such environment. I run lots of other things on this server (ubuntu server 16.04) and wouldn’t really like to give apache such high privileges, but at the same time, the snap package is very nice, as it comes pre-configured, and with auto-updates.
