Activities doens't work. At all

I’m trying to figure out why there’s no way to track activities on NextCloud. Apparently the notification via mail doesn’t work. When I try to send the test email, it starts immediately, but the hourly reports doesn’t.

The activity app reports only my own activities, there’s no way to check other users activity, I always get the message:

“No activity yet
There are no events for this filter”

I’m currently running version 12.0.3

OK I’ve figured how what was wrong.
