About the concept of expiration date of File Sharing

Nextcloud version : 23.0.3
Operating system and version: Ubuntu20.04
Apache or nginx version : Apache2.4.41
PHP version : 7.4.3

Dear all,

I use it with the file sharing expiration date turned on.
For example, if you set the expiration date to 5/5, sharing will expire on 5/5.
I expected it to be shared until 5/5.
Does [Expiration date] not have that day?

Expiration will be whatever you set it to.

I might not understand the question. Try it and you will see.

Thank you for your reply.
My English isn’t very good.

For example・・・
Enter the 5/20/2022 for the expiration date.

5/20/2022→Access NG
5/19/2022→Access OK

I want you to be able to access it on 5/20/2022.

Ah, I see. Expiration is on the day first thing.

So instead of 5/5 you would set the expiration for 5/6, which expires at the exact end of the 5th.

Thank you for your reply.

I recently migrated from owncloud, so I wasn’t used to it.
owncloud: 5/20/2022 → Access OK

Thank you for your polite explanation!

How is this handled differently in owncloud?

For example・・・
Enter the 5/20/2022 for the expiration date.

■nextcloud
5/19/2022→Access OK
5/20/2022→Access NG
5/21/2022→Access NG

■owncloud
5/19/2022→Access OK
5/20/2022→Access OK
5/21/2022→Access NG

The handling of access on 5/20/2022 is different.

I’m sorry.
I don’t remember the version of owncloud before the migration.
