502 Bad Gateway on CalDav Server

I have a problem where any call to /remote.php/dav fails with a 502. I can no longer view/sync my contacts on any device. Nextcloud logs don’t give any helpful information on what may be going wrong, and the admin page states that I currently have no issues.

  • Nextcloud Server version:
    • 30.0.2
  • Operating system and version:
    • Linux 6.1.0-0.deb11.21-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.1.90-1~bpo11+1 (2024-05-06) x86_64
  • Web server and version:
    • nginx/1.26.2 (fpm-fcgi)
  • Is this the first time you’ve seen this error?:
    • Yes
  • Installation method (e.g. AIO, NCP, Bare Metal/Archive, etc.)
    • linuxserver/nextcloud Docker Image
  • Are you using Cloudflare, mod_security, or similar? (Yes / No)
