34.0.4 Desktop Client Shows Activity Notifications For Ignored Files

After upgrading to the latest 34.0.4 Desktop Client, I am receiving notifications for files on the ignored list. Mainly the ~$ files that are temporary made by word/excel to lock the file during use. I found an old GitHub link that referenced this issue with a (fix) at the beginning of the link but the github link brings up a 404 error. Anybody know if this is a bug that has been fixed before but no longer fixed in the latest client version?

Can you report this to github as an issue ?

I do not reproduce the issue when running 34.0.4

Same problem here, quite annoying.
