Is there any chance we can get a backup codes feature for 2FA authentication in Nextcloud. As things stand if you lose the device to which you have set up extended authentication then you lose access to your account and it would need you to get in touch with an administrative user to reset the password.
Essentially this feature would generate a handful of one time passwords on enabling of an extended authentication plugin.
