12.0.1 Sharing problems

Version: 12.0.1

Actions performed:

  • Created new user and assigned user to a new group
  • Attempted to share a folder/directory to new user.

Results:

  • User created normally.
  • Share attempt failed. Was told user or group did not exist.

Other:
Tried to remove edit permission for another user against a folder/directory and was notified only users of the same group can share.

This may be a possible bug. I cannot share to any new users nor modify permissions for existing users.
